We are looking for members of the public to join three online workshops exploring how personal data is used and linked, and how this should be communicated to the public.

What’s involved?

  • Coming to 3 online workshops:
  • 1 hour each
  • Pre-reading: around 30 minutes
  • before each workshop
  • eVouchers to reimburse you for
  • your time (£150 in total)

What’s involved?

  • Anyone aged 18+
  • Based in the UK
  • Can attend all 3 workshops, no prior knowledge of data needed
  • Anyone with an interest in how their data is used and linked in research and service delivery

  • Learn how linked data is used to help shape future research and public services
  • Share your views and shape best practice in how researchers communicate data linkage to the public

  • Workshop 1 – What is data? (20 April 2026, from 6 pm – 7 pm)
  • Workshop 2 – What is data linkage? (11 May 2026, from 6 pm – 7 pm)
  • Workshop 3 – What happens when things go wrong? (15 June 2026, from 6 pm – 7pm)
