HOW WE WORK

DARE UK is collaborating with partners across the UK data research community to test and build new capabilities for a connected national network of secure data research infrastructures for better, faster, and safer research on sensitive data. Our work is governed by a UKRI Programme Board, informed by research and co-delivered with community experts and the public.

DELIVERY STRUCTURE

DARE UK is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and co-delivered by Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and Administrative Data Research UK (ADR UK) who jointly oversee programme delivery.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

DARE UK community groups are collaborative initiatives demonstrating the importance of working together towards common goals. These groups bring together partners from across the UK data research landscape to co-create pieces of work that align with the DARE UK vision.

PUBLIC TRUST AT THE HEART

Public involvement and engagement is central to our work. We strive to build trust by including the public in all programme activities and decision-making processes. That's why we have given permanent seats to members of the public on our Programme Board and Scientific and Technical Advisory Group. We also benefit from ongoing support from our Delivery Team Public Advisor.
