Federated Research Community Interest Group (FedRes CIG)

The Federated Research Community Interest Group brings together the public, researchers, and industry to build trust, transparency, and collaboration in federated research. By engaging communities, consulting researchers, and partnering with industry, the group promotes the safe development of federated platforms aligned with public expectations and designed for real-world impact.

Community charter

The group meets online every two weeks and welcomes open participation. These sessions serve as the group’s core deliverables: developing a comprehensive suite of federated research resources, running pilot programs to inform and educate communities on federation concepts, and exploring critical issues that shape the future of federated research.
