Understanding the landscape and requests for comments
Fact-finding missions aimed at understanding the sensitive data research landscape.
Infrastructure landscape review (October 2023)
Building on the October 2021 initial landscape review, DARE UK conducted a series of surveys, interviews, and consultations from November 2022 to June 2023 to understand the UK data infrastructure landscape, with a focus on organisations providing data services for sensitive data research, particularly Trusted Research Environments (TREs).
Initial infrastructure landscape review (October 2021)
As part of the initial stages of the programme, DARE UK commissioned a landscape review of existing data research infrastructure across the UK. This involved a comprehensive series of interviews and workshops with over 150 technologists, researchers and others to better understand their experiences and needs. The findings of the landscape review were invaluable for informing the design and delivery of a UK-wide data research infrastructure.
