Join us for a public webinar introducing nine DARE UK community groups tackling challenges in sensitive data research.

DARE UK has awarded funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to five interest groups (funded for 15 months, October 2025–March 2027) and four working groups (funded for one year, October 2025–October 2026).

From advancing the adoption of synthetic data and improving transparency in data linkage, to strengthening researcher training and collaboration across federated data environments, these groups are set to deliver practical, community-led outputs for real-world impact.

This session will introduce the newly funded community groups, share what they’ve been funded to deliver, and outline what to expect by the end of their funding period. Each group will give a 4-minute lightning talk, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A. The groups will also share how to get involved, including opportunities to join and contribute to their work.

Whether you’re a researcher, data scientist, or member of the public with an interest in the future of sensitive data research in the UK, this event is an opportunity to connect, learn and get involved.
