Health data saves lives, and this October, DARE UK (Data and Analytics Research Environments UK) will join leading voices in health data science to explore how we can better harness its potential.
The Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) Conference 2025 takes place on 15–16 October 2025 at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow, United Kingdom with a hybrid format so you can join either in person or online.
As the UK’s No.1 conference on health data science, this two-day event will bring together world-class speakers, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, patients and the public to celebrate progress and accelerate the trustworthy use of health data for public benefit.
What to expect
The conference programme is packed with inspiring talks, practical insights and opportunities to connect. Themes include:
- Transforming healthcare with AI
- Innovating the UK’s health data infrastructure
- Using routine healthcare data in clinical trials
- Tackling health inequalities and improving public health
- Data-driven solutions to NHS pressures
- Strengthening public and patient involvement and engagement
- Linking health and non-health records to address societal challenges
With keynotes from internationally recognised leaders, such as Professor Ben Goldacre (University of Oxford), Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak (University of Glasgow), Naomi Allen (UK Biobank), Ming Tang (NHS England), and Dr Raghib Ali (Our Future Health), the conference promises to spark important conversations about the future of health data research.
Why you should attend
The UK is uniquely placed to lead in health data research thanks to the NHS and its cradle-to-grave records for over 65 million people. In recent years, we’ve seen just how powerful data can be in advancing medical knowledge, supporting the NHS and improving people’s lives.
But there’s so much more to do. This conference is about bringing people together to continue building momentum towards enhancing health data research and ensuring that public trust and benefit remain at the heart of it.
Whether you’re a researcher, policymaker, healthcare professional, industry partner, or member of the public with an interest in health data science, this is an event not to miss.
