Eligibility
Funding is available at 80% of full Economic Cost (fEC) for all eligible organisations (e.g., higher education providers, research institutes, NHS bodies, public sector research establishments, independent research and technology organisations, etc.) More info about eligible organisations is available on the UKRI website; if your organisation is not on this list, please see the application form for more details.
Public involvement and engagement
In line with DARE UK’s commitment to meaningful public involvement and engagement (PIE), PIE plans should be clearly embedded into project timelines and fully costed into project proposals, where appropriate. There is no upper limit for the proportion of the award that can be dedicated to PIE.
How to apply
To apply, please complete the funding application form and submit it to enquiries@dareuk.org.uk by 10 December 2024, 09:00, with procurement@hdruk.ac.uk in cc and the subject title ‘DARE UK TRE Early Adoption Funding Opportunity Submission’.
Update (25 November 2024): Due to the rapid nature of this funding call, applicants may also want to complete and submit the HDR UK external costing summary template along with their application form. Doing this in advance will expedite the contracting process should they receive funding.
Update (28 November 2024): Please note that the call specification and scoring criteria have been updated to no longer require applicants to have discussed their proposal with the Lead(s) of the DARE UK Transformational Programme before submission. Also, the previous requirement to include a Letter of Support from the relevant Lead(s) as part of your application is no longer a prerequisite for funding. Applicants DO NOT need to provide a letter of support with their application.
