The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in co-developing research priorities with a diverse group of stakeholders, contributing to the public good, and helping to advance the DARE UK programme’s mission of creating a trusted and scalable data research infrastructure.
DARE UK (Data and Analytics Research Environments UK) is seeking a dynamic collaborator with expertise in research-focused workshop design and delivery to support the programme in organising an intensive three-day residential workshop taking place in January 2024. The workshop will bring together diverse stakeholders, including researchers, data owners, policymakers, industry representatives, and members of the public from across the UK, to answer the question:
“What are the most pressing, cross-cutting research opportunities that Phase 2 of the DARE UK programme should prioritise?”
As Phase 1 of the DARE UK programme draws to a close in March 2024, this workshop will aim to formulate future scientific use cases enabled by bringing together cross-domain sensitive data that will serve to shape the activities of Phase 2 of the DARE UK programme (Build, Test and Establish). The workshop will also provide an opportunity to form new collaborations between researchers, data and infrastructure providers, and research end-users to maximise the feasibility and impact of the proposed use cases.
Key Deliverables
- A workshop design exemplifying best practices.
- Detailed notes reflecting workshop outcomes.
- A final report with research themes and recommendations.
All activities will be carried out in close collaboration with the DARE UK delivery team. For full details, see the invitation to tender document.
