A two-hour session introducing the DARE UK Next-Gen Catalysts driving innovations for the future of sensitive data research.

DARE UK announced funding for eight project teams from the UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure Fund to develop early-stage prototypes that test bold, future-forward ideas beyond DARE UK’s current programme of work, exploring what the next era of secure data research could look like.

The project teams, which we’ve called DARE UK Next-Gen Catalysts, are now set to explore innovations enabling secure free-text and narrative data research, synthetic data development, improved software governance, advanced computing access, and public involvement in TRE design. Rather than delivering finished services, the projects will generate evidence, working prototypes, and practical guidance to inform future national infrastructure and policy decisions.

In case you missed it…

Watch the webinar recording below to see what the projects aim to achieve over the next 12 months and the role of public involvement and engagement in shaping their innovations.
