The Synthetic Data Adoption Community Group (SDACG)
The Synthetic Data Adoption Community Group aims to accelerate the responsible, trusted adoption of synthetic data across the UK by aligning standards, building capacity, supporting regulatory clarity, and demonstrating real-world value. Through cross-sector engagement and public involvement, it seeks to improve interoperability, boost confidence, and enable safer, more efficient use of sensitive data.

Community charter
The community meets through monthly online meetings, targeted stakeholder workshops, and training sessions, supported throughout by a dedicated Public Advisory Panel. It collaborates to refine best practices, build capacity, align policy, and generate case studies. Key outputs include community-endorsed guidelines, practical resources, and evidence demonstrating the value of synthetic data.
