DARE UK is inviting interdisciplinary researchers, policymakers, and the public to participate in a Scientific Use-case Workshop in London. The workshop aims to define research potential and challenges through data and infrastructure connectivity, advancing DARE UK’s vision for a trusted national sensitive data research infrastructure.
DARE UK is inviting participants to a Scientific Use-case Workshop exploring key cross-cutting research priorities and opportunities that can be unlocked by data and infrastructure connectivity at scale. The workshop will bring together approximately 50-70 interdisciplinary researchers, policymakers, and members of the public to collaboratively define the future research potential and grand challenges that could be addressed through the DARE UK vision.
This workshop, which will be co-delivered with The Public Service Consultants (The PSC), will be critical in advancing DARE UK’s vision of building a trusted and scalable sensitive data research infrastructure for the public good. The workshop will be held on Thursday, 8 February 2024, in London at The Wellcome Trust (Gibbs Building) from 9.45 am to 4.30 pm.
The main outcome of the workshop will be a report showcasing the extensive interdisciplinary research opportunities that access to connected sensitive data at scale could enable. The findings will help ensure that the research infrastructure the DARE UK programme enables and supports will align with these scientific priorities.
