Your views on how data access and accreditation processes could be improved

On Wednesday 23 March 2022, DARE UK held the fifth in a series of workshops to gather the views of stakeholders in the design and delivery of a more joined-up, efficient and trustworthy national data research infrastructure.

This workshop was on the topic of ‘Access and Accreditation’ and was attended by over 50 participants from across academia, research infrastructure services and the public. We presented our working recommendations on actions that could be taken forward to better demonstrate trustworthiness in the use of sensitive data for research across the UK. We then sought the feedback of participants in breakout discussions to help refine them.

Our draft recommendations are based on our engagement with stakeholders so far during DARE UK Phase 1, including our initial Landscape Review (October 2021) and our Public Dialogue (for which a final report will be published in Spring 2022). Now, we will be using your valuable feedback to further refine them.
