In March 2022, DARE UK held a series of six online workshops to gain your input in the design and delivery of a more coordinated, efficient and trustworthy national data research infrastructure.

Your views are helping DARE UK (Data and Analytics Research Environments UK) refine our recommendations to UK Research and Innovation on measures that could be taken forward in the development of a novel and innovative national data research infrastructure, to support cross-domain linkage and analysis of sensitive data at scale for the public good.

Each of the interactive workshops covered a different theme, from data access and accreditation, through funding and incentives, to demonstrating trustworthiness. The workshops were open to all those interested in taking part, including researchers, technologists, third-sector representatives and members of the public. Participants were randomly grouped into breakout rooms for discussions to make sure everybody had the opportunity to contribute.

The six themed workshops took place on the following dates and times. Follow the links to see read the workshop recaps and view the event recordings.
